Who are we ?
Galliatec is based in tiny and sunny Nelson, on the South island of New Zealand. Galliatec's founder, Romain Sacchettini is a passionate Software and Embedded Software Engineer, has obtained a Bachelor with Honors of Science in Computing with the class medal (1st of class), from Edinburgh Napier University in 2009 (UK), he has then worked and been trained in a number of reputable IT and software companies in the United Kingdom, France and New Zealand such as Cadence Design Systems (used by Intel and AMD), IVS Activisu group (Essilor group, #1 corrective lenses worldwide) and Flightcell International (Aircraft tracking and Satellite communications).
Romain is standing next to the photo of Deeplights by Activisu, an electronic optical measurement, wireless connected device that measures the power of filtration of UV rays (sun) and harmful blue lights (LED and screens). This devices was developed from scratch by his R&D team at IVS Activisu (Paris France), and won the gold medal award for most innovative electronic tools for optical shop, at the SILMO Paris show in 2014 (international optical specialists show).
